I am planning my trip to France and Italy this summer and have been researching various architects to potentially do photo shoots with. Days are spent lost in pinterest black holes and I often find my self pages deep in Japanese, Italian, French – you name it – architecture blogs. I thought I would start sharing these houses on the blog – but I have to admit it feels weird to post photos that aren’t my own. The house I’m sharing today is in Brissago Italy and its my favorite color – white.

Dreamboat! I love this photo – I want to climb into it and never leave. Anyone else notice how those trees are trimmed like umbrellas !?
Amazing lines with peaks of green
I like the wood framing of the window and the built in dining area – but I don’t love the kitchen here. It feels too compact for the scale of the house and tucked away in the corner.
All about sticks as decorative objects. I used to have a huge stick collection as a kid that lived under the bottom bunk of my bunk bed. When I was 5, I made my dad help me drag a palm frond all the way home to add to the collection. He did it and let me keep it in my room. He was also very supportive of my rock collection, if that isn’t love I don’t know what is. I still collect rocks and sticks – only I’m slightly more selective these days. Don’t go to the beach with me though or I will fill any thing of yours that resembles a pocket with rocks sticks and sand and make you gently carry it all the home.
Not a big fan of the bedroom being so open to the bathroom, feels a bit like a hotel room to me.
I really really like tones of these yellows, greens and blues together.
What do you guys think about these house? And what about built in couches?
